Dr. iur. Urs Lustenberger, born 1959, was admitted to the Bar in Switzerland in 1988. He is a partner of Lustenberger Glaus & Partner since 1994. Urs Lustenberger serves on the board of a selected number of privately held or public Swiss companies. His pro bono activities include a tenure on the board of the Swiss Korean Chamber of Commerce i.a. as President (1996 - 2005) and since 2005 on the board of the Swiss Asian Chamber of Commerce as Vice-President, Head of the Legal Committee and Head of the Country Committee for Korea.
Education and Professional Experience: Urs Lustenberger graduated 1983 from the University of Zurich Law School (1983 lic. iur./1993 Dr. iur.); in 1976/77 he obtained the High School Diploma at Oelwein Community High School, Iowa, USA. After a clerkship in 1985 for a District Court, he has been practicing law as an associate with two law firms in Zurich (Lenz & Staehelin 1986/1987; Pestalozzi Gmuer & Patry 1988 - 1994). In 1991/92 he practiced as an associate with Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy, New York.
